Ringer’s team conducted meetings in the center of a Hindu stronghold in a hall popular for Hindu weddings. In this setting, 83 people were baptized and 46 made decisions for baptism. Most were former Hindus. “It was overwhelming to see Hindus responding to the calls each night,” says Ringer. “When one stops to realize it, it’s truly a miracle that just a little over 100 years ago, it took 17 years to convert the first Hindu to Christianity.”
